Widemouth Bay is approximately one mile away and boasts two superb sandy beaches with lifeguards on duty through the day during the summer, a couple of fantastic pubs serving good food and restaurants offering wonderful cuisine can also be found here. The South West Coastal path can be joined from Widemouth from the public footpath leading from our farm. Bude, just 3 miles away is the main holiday resort, with spacious sandy beaches, rock pools, and an outside sea bathing pools all manned in the season with lifeguards. There is an indoor leisure pool, Parks, an indoor play zone and go-carting. Bude is the main shopping centre with supermarkets, local shops and various places to eat to suit most palates and budgets. Many sporting activities are available in the area, including Golf, Squash, Tennis, Bowls Ten Pin Bowling, Horse Riding, Putting, Surfing, Body Boarding, Sailing and Kayaking, just to mention a few.   We are excellently positioned to explore the many attractions Cornwall and Devon have to offer. From fabulous sandy beaches to the rugged moorland of Bodmin and Dartmoor with picturesque villages such as Padstow, Clovelly and Boscastle all within easy reach as are other major attractions such as the world famous Eden Project and Lands End.
